No fifties kitchen or collection is complete without this sassy lady napkin holder. Standing 11" tall, she is made of wood with 12 grooves (each 6 3/4" long) to hold folded paper napkins. She is mounted (wooden dowel glued) on a natural stone base that is 3" in diameter and 5/8" thick. It appears to be alabaster or marble but I'm not sure. Her dress and hat are painted green, with hand painted details such as lapels, buttons, facial features and hair. The flesh sections of her head, neck and forearms are the unpainted, natural tone of the wood and her wooden dowel arms are attached to the body with wires. She is marked with US Patent No. D159,005. This was issued in 1950 (applied for in 1949) to R.I. Sanger, NYC, NY. If you have a moment, look her up on the US patent and trademark website, it's worth it to see the original sketches and how she would have been packaged. Overall she is in very good vintage condition with some paint loss here and there and some small gouges to the wood. Her stone base is has two large chips, but she can still stand and is perfectly stable. The chips are fortunately in the back, though there is a crack visible in the front. I would not recommend her as a napkin holder for daily use, as it is fairly tedious to insert the napkins into the grooves but I'm sure there are plenty of other creative uses for her. Her sister in gray is photographed below holding napkins. She makes a great bangle holder as well (photo below) but is splendid all on her own. A classic piece of kitsch and yours for $58.00

Like her sister above, this 50s napkin holder is made of wood with a natural stone base and painted gray dress. She has the same measurements as the holder above with a darker tone to the wood. Her facial features are painted differently and more difficult to make out. She is in very good vintage condition paint loss and small gouges to the wood. I have included a picture of her with napkins, though as I mentioned in the description above, inserting them is a tedious process. She would definitely work better as a napkin display, rather than a practical dispenser. I find her wonderful as a bangle holder (see above napkin holder for photo). A great gal! $52.00

This fantastic perfume bottle not makes a lovely display, but it can also be worn as a pin. It is made of Sterling with natural stone cabochons (amethyst and I believe carnelian) and has a nicely detailed design and heavy weight. It measures 2" long (bottle section only 1 1/8" long) by 1 3/8" wide by ½" deep and is in very good vintage condition. Please note that the inner (rubber?) seal is deteriorating. When it came to me it had been polished at some point and I will leave any further polishing to the new owner. $135.00
