Luggage not necessary to tour Europe when you wear this terrific 1950s charm necklace. Measuring 16 ¾" long (can be worn shorter as it has a hook clasp), it features nine laminated charms, representing Berlin, Den Haag, Frankfurt, Paris, Kopenhagen, Bremerhaven, Venezia, Garmisch-Partenkirchen and Mannheim. Each charm measures ½" long by 3/8" wide and is marked "830" (Silver mark used in Scandanavia and Germany). The necklace itself consists of silver tone tube links and the hook's finish has faded, revealing the brass beneath. I think these two shouting fellows are a scream! Made of stamped silver tone and gold tone metal, respectively, each is very detailed and two-sided with coral glass earrings and clear rhinestone eyes. They measure 1" by 1" (head only not bale) and are 7/8" thick. A spring ring clasp in matching metal ensures an easy addition to your bracelet, necklace, keychain, etc. Excellent vintage condition...please note that there is a small hole in the very top of each head, but as I have others of these with the same defect, I'm certain this was a flaw in the manufacture and not damage. I haven't been able to decide whether this charm is a puffy heart or Christmas ornament, so I'll leave the decision to you. It measures 1" long by 7/8" wide and it adorned on both sides with plume-like etchings and a zigzag pattern along the center seam. It looks to have some silver content but is not marked. Either of these terrific charms is a great gift for the graduate in your life. Marked "STG JMF", the rolled "DIPLOMA" charm has a couple of thin layers and a curl on the inside (making it look like the real thing) and is tied with a red ENAMEL ribbon. It measures 1 ¼" long by ¼" wide and is in very good condition, with some tiny dings to the red enamel. The second charm is marked "REMBRANT STER" and features a raised cap and tassel design.
