 Ornate and eye-catching, this WEST GERMAN adjustable ring sports a blue-green, swirled art glass 'stone' that is bezel set as well as embraced by four elegant prongs. It is made of brass with leafy details all along the 3/16" wide band and measures ¾" by ¾" by ½" tall at the top. I would say the practical size range for this ring is 6 to 8 1/2. This very bold ring is a 1980s archival piece from contemporary designer DEANNA HAMRO (unsigned). It is made of heavy gold tone metal with a matte finish and is crowned with a dramatic red glass pyramid cabochon that measures ¾" by ¾" by 3/8" tall. The band measures ¼" wide and will fit a size 6 ¾. The ring is quite heavy, mostly at the top, but in my opinion feels well balanced when worn. What accessory is more fun than a Lucite ring? Each of these boasts bright colors and cool shapes in a style and size that will never go unnoticed. Both are made of clear Lucite…top left has a rectangular shape with blue and green stripes while bottom right has an oblong shape with beveled sides and neon green/orange stripes. This adjustable ring is all about the huge (1 3/8" long by ¾" wide), natural stone cabochon (lapis lazuli or sodalite?). The prongs and band are rough-hewn in texture and made of a silver tone metal with a dark patina. The band is split at the bottom to allow for adjustment. Here's a gorgeous size 10 ½ for a man or a woman. It is made of 14K white gold with a luminous green 'stone' center that features an intaglio representing the ancient Greek goddess Athena. I suspect that the stone is Chrysoprase, though I am not a gemologist and cannot say for certain. It measures ½" long by ¾" across and is bezel set with beveled sides. The band measures ¼" at its widest and has engraved designs all around. It is in very good vintage condition with some scratches around the intaglio that are not visible without magnification. Please note that when worn, the stone/intaglio shows much more green since there is not as much light passing through it as in my photo.
